Financial Times Industrial Ordinary Shares Index; FTO; FT Index; FT 30 Index фондовый индекс промышленных обыкновенных акций, публикуемый газетой "Файненшл Таймс" (Великобритания): индекс акций 30 крупнейших промышленных компаний, который рассчитывается ежечасно с 1935 г. (1935= 100); впервые опубликован 1 июля 1935 г. в предшественнике нынешней "ФТ" - газете "Файненшл Ньюс" по предложению Ричарда Кларка, ведущего сотрудника газеты; размер компаний не является главным критерием, т. к. они должны представлять разные отрасли; лишь 6 компаний из первоначальных 30 остаются в индексе.
